One of the easiest palms to care for, the Rhapis is a rare palm in that it is extremely tolerant of low light conditions, resistant to common plant pests and is a great palm for beginners. Originating in Asia from southern Japan and China, the Rhapis are very slow-growing and unusual in that they don't exist in the wild and are entirely bred from human-made cultivars.
